COSON DIRECTOR, EFE OMOROGBE CELEBRATES WIFE AS THEY MARK 15TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY


Now Muzik C.E.O and COSON director, Mr. Efe Omorogbe on November 24, 2016 took to social media networking site; Instagram to celebrate his wife, Mrs. Bukonla Omorogbe on their 15th wedding anniversary.

He wrote:


@efeomorogbe  -  If I had to start from scratch and do it all again, I'll choose you. Again and again. Thanks for 15 fabulous years. You have been the best part of my entire life. Love you die!

Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Nigeria's sole approved collective management organisation for musical works and sound recordings on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, held a gathering to celebrate gospel star and copyright activist Kenny Saint Best.

The celebration which held at the COSON headquarters in Opebi, Ikeja, had in attendance top COSON executives such as the COSON chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, COSON General Manager, Mr. Chinedu Chukwuji, and COSON's public affairs consultant, Mrs Lucy Ajayi.

Also present was music songstress, Essence and leader of the energy band, Maureen, among others.

FULL LIST OF WINNERS AT AFRIMA 2016



The 3rd edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) took place at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels, VI, Lagos.

The hosts, who were drawn from the three majorly spoken languages in Africa— English, French and Arabic—were Ahmed Soultan (Morocco);  Bonang Matheba (South Africa; and Ika Jang(Congo).

The award night saw several top class performances from music stars and COSON members such as Phyno and Seyi Shay.

There were also mindblowing performances from Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Ghana’s VVIP, and Nigeria’s Aramide, Ycee, among many others.

The music award ceremony which was well attended by dignitaries such as the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the COSON team made up of the COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, General Manager, Mr Chinedu Chukwuji, Head of Finance and Administration, Ms. Bernice Eriemeghe, Communications Manager, Tolu Balogun and a host of others, saw Falz the Bahd Guy take home the award  of ‘Revelation of the Year’, Star boy, Wizkid won ‘Artist of the Year’ while Aramide pulled a surprise by winning the award for ‘Best Female West Africa’.
